There are over a million listings for just Powell River on Google™ Canada. I haven’t looked at them all, but probably hundreds of them, and nowhere could I find one comprehensive site that listed all the businesses, services and amenities in the area. Thus was Powell River Direct.com born. Powell River Direct.com is primarily intended as a information resource for the people that live here or who want to move here. The information provided is brief, but (hopefully) comprehensive. For more extensive, specific information there are many good websites for which links are provided, when applicable. Of particular note is Discover Powell River, which is devoted to promoting tourism in the area.
