Potters, painters and probably candlestick makers, we are fortunate to have a rich and diversified art community on the Upper Sunshine Coast.  It has been estimated that 500 artists and artisans make their home here with hundreds more that come each year.

In the Arts & Culture section there is a directory of performing artists, art groups and galleries as well as on-line galleries.

Powell River Direct strongly supports art, culture and community participation. One way of doing so is to offer web pages at very low rates to non-profit art and community groups as well as individual artists with a commitment to keep the web pages current.
