Introduction to Arts, Culture & Heritage

An estimated 500 artists and artisans call Powell River, Lund, Texada and Savary Island their home with hundreds more that visit each year. In the Arts, Culture & Heritage section of Powell River Direct you will find listings for theatre, music, visual artists, heritage groups, art groups and local galleries as well as an on-line gallery.

Powell River Direct believes strongly that arts, culture and heritage is essential to a strong, vibrant community and should be promoted at every opportunity. One way of doing so is to offer web pages at very low rates to artists and non-profit community groups with a commitment to keep the web pages current.
