A dance club with the goal to expand interest in social dancing in Powell River. Advanced dancers meet on Tuesday nights at Community Living Place. Participation in the CLP program is restricted to experienced dancers who teach beginners in weekend workshops offered through Leisure Services.

There are dance clubs in Powell River for every taste including Latin dance, cloggers, Scottish dancing and square dancing. There are also three theatre groups (with one on Texada Island) that give live performances two or three times a year.
