The Blackberry Festival has become a tradition in Powell River with events planned through the week for everyone. Below is the schedule to date. Check back for more information as this fun-filled week gets closer.

Arts Alive in the Park

Saturday and Sunday

Two days of great entertainment and a variety of visual artists as well as activities for the whole family.

Blackberry Shortcake Desserts

For a delicious dessert made of white cake drizzled with an ample ladle of blackberries and syrup topped with a fresh dollop of whipped cream look for the Townsite Heritage Society booth at the Street Party.

Blackberry Street Party

Friday, August 21 6:00 to 11:00

Location: Marine Ave, Wharf to Alberni

Marine Avenue comes alive with pedestrians, entertainment and food in a celebration for the whole family. Dance in the streets, be entertained, sample a variety of food and do some shopping too.
