The Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coordinator assists children, youth and their families as well as school personnel on issues of alcohol and drug prevention including primary prevention, early intervention and community development within the school district and community at large. Referrals can be made by school personnel, Other community agencies or parents/guardians.

Diabetic Education Program

This multi-disciplinary program helps people with diabetes to live healthier lives through a range of services and supports including educational programs and individual counselling. This support includes information on lifestyle issues, how to manage diet, and how and when to monitor blood glucose levels at home. Nutritional Counselling

Outpatient services include one-on-one diet counselling for diabetes, paediatric care, celiac disease, classes on maintaining a healthy cholesterol level, and a variety of other conditions. Referrals are not required but are strongly recommended.

A non-profit society established in 1987 to provide educational and life skills programs to persons with mental illness. The program is funded through the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority and employs three part time Prevocational Rehabilitation Workers.  The Clubhouse is a safe, social outlet for its’ members with a light lunch, coffee and good conversation available. Member initiated programs of arts and crafts are also enjoyed at the Club.
