Success By 6® is an early childhood development initiative dedicated to providing all children with a good start in life. It helps to ensure that children ages 0 to 6 develop the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical skills they need as they enter school. In partnership with Power River United Way, Powell River Credit Union and the Ministry of Children & Family Development, the Program’s priorities include raising the awareness of the importance of the early years across the region and providing funding to projects that focus on early language and cognitive development. To date Success By 6 has made close to $20,000 available for programs and activities for children and families.
