Our club, through its' membership fees ($45/year - $75 couple) and other fund raising projects, provides financial assistance to worthwhile organizations throughout the Powell River Regional area. CBA is a non-profit society serving the community of Powell River for over 40 years now. The society promotes the French language and culture. In addition, the society offers a range of programs such as the Beau Soleil Preschool, the Cote du Soleil Before and After school Daycare and a French Immersion Summer Camp. All programs are licensed and offered at Cote du Soleil School on Michigan Avenue. We also offer through the year a wide variety of cultural, community and social activities, a French book and film library and hall rentals for up to 110 people. Call for more information.

Our membership is comprised of seniors, retired persons and other citizens interested in the quality of life of Texada’s aging population. As a formal group we have existed since 1979 as Branch #153 of the BC Old Age Pensioners Organization, but in November 2008, we decided to affiliate instead with a growing, vibrant province-wide Council of Senior Citizens Organizations (COSCO).
