A sisterhood of friendship and fun for women over 50 who meet for lunches, dinners, have tea parties, socialize with each other, go to movies and visit with other Red Hat Chapters on Vanc. Island.
To join please call Dagmar. Chapterettes must wear purple clothes with a Red Hat. Chapterettes under 50 years are welcome to join and wear lavender clothes with a pink hat until their "Reduation".
Meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12 pm; call for location.

Our membership is comprised of seniors, retired persons and other citizens interested
in the quality of life of Texada’s aging population. As a formal group we have existed
since 1979 as Branch #153 of the BC Old Age Pensioners Organization, but in November
2008, we decided to affiliate instead with a growing, vibrant province-
Meetings: second Wednesday of each month September to June 1 pm at the Seniors Centre in the Old School in Gillies Bay.
Membership: open to any adult person 19 years of age or older who has residence in Canada.
