Oceanview Education Centre
7105 Nootka Street, Powell River
From 1976 to 2012 the facility on Nootka Street overlooking Joyce Avenue was in the business of teaching youth in grades eight to ten. The facility was renamed the Oceanview Education Centre when the students migrated to Brooks Secondary. It was re-purposed to become a well used community resource, education and activity centre.

With a Cafe-style atmosphere, comfy couches and bean bag chairs, the Youth Centre is a great place to connect with friends. Air hockey, a pool table, games, Wii, jam mights, movies on the big screen, food, a library, Internet, funny-looking youth workers and special guests dropping in; there's always fun things to do!
