Our goal at the Powell River Disability Sport Club is for the co-ordination, community promotion and development of an inclusive disability sport club organization with focus on physical and social wellness for all participants. The purpose of the MCP is to ensure full participation and integration of persons with disabilities into the social, recreational and economic mainstream of the community including accessible transportation, housing, education, recreation and employment. A volunteer operated therapeutic program using horses and riding for children and adults with disabilities. Volunteers needed to assist riders (no experience necessary), raise funds, and serve as board members, etc.
