Magical is a word heard over and over when people attempt to describe the beauty of the Upper Sunshine Coast, which encompasses an area from Saltery Bay to Desolation Sound and includes the Ragged Islands, Texada Island and Savary Island. There are mountains to climb, rivers to forge, an abundance of lakes big and small and of course the ocean. For people less energetic there are an array of groups that play games, enjoy sports or hobbies.
