Thai cuisine is designed to stimulate and excite the five taste senses: sweet, sour, hot, salty, and neutral. Incorporating the culinary traditions of its Chinese forebears and Indian neighbor, its unique flavors depend on certain ingredients native Southeast Asia. Fresh coriander leaf and root, lemon grass, the fresh leaf and peels of Kaffir lime, kha root (a cousin of ginger with a milder bouquet) and the hottest chilies in the world make Thai dining a unique experience. To ensure that our food tastes just right, we fly essential ingredients in fresh from Bangkok. We have made a special effort to keep sugar and monosodium glutamate out of the kitchen. We use fresh lime juice to bring out the natural flavor and fruit sugars for sweetening.  Based on rice, the typical main meal includes curry, stir-fried dishes and soup. Tastes within a dish as well as within a meal are carefully blended to stimulate each of the five sensations. For light dining, we recommend one of our hearty noodle dishes or a plate of satay from the grill.  While Thaidal Zone is dedicated to the presentation of authentic Asian cooking, we are prepared to adjust the chili content of our fare to suit individual tastes.  To enjoy traditional Asian cooking at its best you should stimulate your taste buds to the limits.
