The information for this section is primarily taken from the resource guide produced by the Powell River Community Services Association, sponsored in part by the United Way. The effort it takes to compile and produce the Community Directory each year is greatly appreciated. Reproducing the Directory online meets the mandate of Community Services, which is to facilitate the “participation in and utilization of the wide range of services, organizations and volunteer activities in our communities.”
